Penny worked with executive coach Barb Mckee to create an immersive workshop session that responds directly to the 2023 Respect at Work legislation.
The workshops included live role plays performed by professional actors, facilitated discussion run by Barb McKee and an accompanying e-learn comprised of bespoke written material and video content plus infographics and cartoons (by cartoonist Tohby Riddle).
The workshop was rolled out across Foxtel’s entire business in 2024.
Reaction was overwhelmingly positive: workshops are usually dry and dull, e-training modules are usually a ‘one-size-fits-all’ template. These materials were tailor-made for the business and designed to engage, entertain and educate.

Penny worked with Dott Group to help create an immersive workshop aimed at improving face-to-face communications within the company. Basic principals (have an agenda, take notes, put away your devices) that get forgotten within a busy work day and subsequently errode team connections and company productivity. The workshop was facilitated by Barb McKee and Mel Kinnaird and included live role plays (written by Penny) performed by professional actors.
The workshops were rolled out across the entire business from work sites to corporate offices in 2019 and 2020.
Penny also wrote and edited content and commissioned original cartoons (by Tohby Riddle) for the program.
During 2020 lockdowns, Penny and Dott Group produced a video version of the workshop for remote workers.

Penny produced a mini documentary covering the CSV immersive workshop day. The video’s aim was to develop awareness of and promote further investment into the ground-breaking Drug Courts program.
The video included fly-on-the-wall coverage and vox-pop interviews with prominent judges from the program. It was circulated within the organisation and uploaded to the company intranet as part of the induction process for new employees.
